Nestled along the central coast of Vietnam, Da Nang is a vibrant coastal city that perfectly balances modern urban energy with breathtaking natural beauty. Known as the tourist capital of South-Central Vietnam, it draws travelers with its miles of pristine white-sand beaches, most notably My Khe Beach, where azure waters meet a bustling beachfront promenade. The city’s skyline is defined by architectural marvels like the iconic Dragon Bridge, which breathes actual fire and water on weekend nights, spanning the scenic Han River. Just a short drive from the city center, the dramatic limestone peaks of the Marble Mountains offer mystical caves and panoramic coastal views, while the lush Son Tra Peninsula stands guard over the bay, home to pristine rainforests and the majestic Lady Buddha statue.

Take a Grab Taxi to Hoi An
Staying in Da Nang is gret and Hoi An is just a short taxi ride away. I don't think bouncing between both cities is best. You an stay in one or the other and just take day trips to either. It cuts down on some of the traveling to just explore both cities from one base.
